Author: Sisters of Our Lady of Mercy
Binding: Paperback
This booklet contains the essential meaning and prayers of the popular Divine Mercy Devotion entrusted to St. Faustina as her life' s witness and mission. The mission of St. Faustina consists in: reminding the world of the truth of our faith revealed in Holy Scripture regarding God's merciful love towards every human being, even the greatest sinner; conveying new forms of devotion to Divine Mercy, and initiating a great movement of devotees and apostles of Divine Mercy who would lead people toward the renewal of Christian life in the spirit of this devotion; in other words, in the evangelical spirit of a childlike confidence in God and an active love of neighbor. The Feast of Divine Mercy was established by John Paul II as the first Sunday after Easter.
This booklet includes the essence of the Divine Mercy Devotion, an explanation of the Image of the Divine Mercy, how to prepare for and celebrate the Feast of the Divine Mercy, the Novena to the Divine Mercy, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, Prayers at the Hour of Mercy, and Select Prayers from Saint Faustina's Diary such as For Divine Mercy in the World, To Obtain Love of God, Invocations of Trust, For the Grace to be Merciful, For the Conversion of Sinners, For a Happy Death, and more.
